Exciting Updates to CollectorproOnline: Enhancing Your Experience!
We’re thrilled to announce a series of significant updates to CollectorproOnline that are designed to make your experience even smoother and more efficient. We’ve been listening to your feedback, and these enhancements reflect our commitment to providing you with the best possible platform for managing your collections.
Streamlined Reporting with a New Condensed Format
Say goodbye to lengthy reports! We’re introducing a new condensed report format that will revolutionize how you view your collection data. This new layout prints multiple objects per page, efficiently displaying the object ID, name, values (1-5), description, and the first object image. This means less scrolling and more immediate insights into your valuable pieces. (A sample report has been attached for your preview!)
Enhanced Record Locking for Seamless Collaboration
Working with a team? Our improved record locking feature is here to prevent frustrating conflicts. This enhancement ensures that only one user can edit a workfile, object, comparable, cover, or appendix document at a time.
Here’s how it works:
- If a record is currently being edited, a message will now display the name of the current editor.
- Locks are automatically released after saving, ensuring quick access for the next user.
- To lock a workfile, simply click “Edit Workfile.” Objects, comparables, covers, and appendices will auto-lock upon opening for your convenience.
Simplified Field Label Editing
We’ve made customizing your data even easier! The “Edit Field Labels” function has been relocated from the object screen to the Workfile Info screen. This means you can now edit labels without needing to add an object first, significantly simplifying the process and allowing you to create template workfiles with ease.
You can access this feature via: Workfile Info > “Edit Workfile” > “Edit Field Labels”.
Other Noteworthy Updates
We’ve also implemented a few other helpful changes:
- We’ve added “Object Name” to the object list on the left side of your screen for quicker identification.
- Several minor defects have been fixed to further enhance your experience.
